WHO WE ARE
Established in 1954.
An affiliate of UQ Judo Club and Judo Queensland, the University of Queensland Junior Judo Club boasts a rich history and caters for all martial arts skill levels - from first timers to elite level athletes to lifelong practitioners. Held at the Northside Martial Arts Academy, the Club is also one of the few that are equipped with a sprung flooring that makes for a safe and effective ground to train on.
Judo is a modern martial art that was created as a physical and mental discipline which has evolved into a popular Olympic sport. There are many different skills in Judo from throwing, grappling and ground fighting that will challenge the participants.
